In recent years, Daniel has earned the reputation of one of Sydney’s most respected Producer / Engineers. He began his career at Australia’s most prestigious recording facility Studios 301, where he progressed through the ranks to head engineer. Daniel’s technical expertise is second-to-none in the recording industry, and also has a strong musical background to ensure things don’t just sound good, but feels good – a skill that only comes through experience.

Daniel has worked on a broad range of projects from orchestral to metal, with recent credits including Cold Chisel, Richard Clapton, Metallica, and scores of local releases. He has also had the privilege of working beside industry greats like:

Mike Gilles (Metallica)
Rick Will (Incubus, Ben Harper, No Doubt and Fear Factory)
Jim Abbiss (Morcheeba, Placebo)
Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Slipknot).

Since going freelance in 2003 he as enjoyed a successful career both in Australia and
abroad. Daniel also possesses an intimate knowledge of electronics and audio design philosophy,
which has given him an edge in the quest for the perfect tone allowing him to build custom audio
equipment specifically for studio applications.

More Recently Daniel has teamed up with Pulse Creation Productions to co-produce one of the worlds largest sampled ethnic virtual instruments called Evolution Series World Percussion. This has been well received by the international user base and is used by some of the top Hollywood film composers. You can expect to see more great products unfolding over time as this already successful venture kicks into overdrive.
